Scholastic Chess Scholarship Tour The 2024-25 school schedule features our new Grand Prix Chess Tour program that offers scholarships for some lucky players to attend the USCF K-8 Championships in Bloomington or the Nationals in Orlando, Florida at the end of the chess season. Please fill out your school's spreadsheet located in this folder. Include the player's name, birthday, and a valid email (yours or the player's). If your school does not have a spreadsheet or if you have any questions, please email cohen.patrick1995@gmail.com. Filling out this spreadsheet does not register a player for the tournament.



High School coaches should use the tournament spreadsheet to input their teams. If your team does not have a roster sheet, please email cohen.patrick1995@gmail.com to register. We will add a roster sheet for you to insert the roster infomration for your school's players. HS Open players should use the form below (↓).

Only players on a Team should go in the spreadsheet and only players in the High School Open get registered on the entry form below (↓).>

  • Each team has their own sheet.
  • Coaches will be given access to edit only their school's sheet.
  • Several areas will be protected and cannot be editted by anyone other than the owner of the sheet. Coaches will only have access to edit the roster on their school's sheet.
  • Only the email listed on the school's roster page will have access to edit the sheet. You must be logged into that email account in order to edit your school's sheet. If this email is incorrect, email cohen.patrick1995@gmail.com.
  • To designate board order, coaches will place a number in the board column, next to the player's name, that corresponds to the board order that player will play.
  • Varsity Players should be numbered 1 to however many boards (6 or 8) being played in the competition. Junior Varisty, if also being registered to play in this tournament, would be numbered with the subsequent numbers (7-12 or 9-16).

Registration Instructions
You may enter up to 10 players at a time. If you have more than 10 players to register, you will need to make another pass after submitting the first 10. If this is a scholastic tournament, all players entered should attend the same school selected above. You may press the Payment button to pay for players already entered.
  • If you are not playing in the camp tournament, you may leave the USCF ID# blank.
  • If you know your player has USCF ID#, just enter it and the system will look up player's name, rating & expiration date.
  • If a player has previously played in a rated tournament or has had a previous USCF membership, look up the ID number here and enter his old number.
  • If a player has NEVER had a USCF membership, please join with the button below to get a USCF ID number number and enter it. Youths may also join or renew with a discounted membership at the tournament.
  • If you don't have a USCF ID and intend to buy it at the tournament, just enter your name where indicated and leave the ID# blank.
  • You must select sections for each player entered.

  • Use the Bye/Info field (public) to request a round bye or provide additional info for the TD. To contact the TD privately,to playup from a lower section and ask questions please email questions@PeoriaChess.com.
